What information is automatically available in MyChart?
Virtua has opted to proactively make a lot of your key medical information automatically available to you in MyChart, without you having to request it. As of February 23, 2021, Virtua expanded the amount of your medical information automatically available in MyChart, including most of your new provider notes. There may be circumstances under which a provider does not share a specific note to MyChart or delays the delivery of a specific test result, such as when you request not to receive a test result until your provider has had an opportunity to review it with you first. The information available includes:
- Inpatient provider notes (written during Virtua hospital visits)
- Outpatient provider notes (from visits to your Virtua primary care or specialist office)
- Virtua emergency department visit notes
- Laboratory results (blood tests, for example)
- Pathology results (such as biopsies)
- Radiology results

If you have found a third-party healthcare application (such as 1upHealth, MyFHR, MyLinks, etc) with which you would like to connect/link to your MyChart account so that you can capture or share some of your personal health information, you will need to sign-up for that app and then go through their process to connect your health data. Once you have logged into your MyChart account through that application, you will need to allow it access to your health data in MyChart. If you have any issues with the connection setup, contact that app vendor.
